Brooke HammerlingFounder

Brooke is the Founder of Brew and has over 18 years of experience in technology PR and communications, both on the client side and in large and small agencies. She started Brew determined to bring a different style to the PR world. With the help of Dena Cook, the CEO of Brew, and an incredible team, Brew has grown to be a company that provides the unique blend of communications that Brooke had envisioned. With offices in New York and Los Angeles, Brew works with some of the most interesting, innovative and successful companies in tech all around the world.

Brooke is based in NYC and is a lover of Spotify on her Sonos, cheese and charity: water. She is a graduate of Rollins College where she actually did learn a lot despite the tropical location.

Dena CookCEO

Dena Cook is CEO of Brew. Dena serves as a strategic advisor to clients in technology and digital media providing counsel that helps clients use communications to support their business objectives.

Prior to joining Brew, Dena spent three years at Zeno Group, part of Daniel J Edelman, where she was a senior vice president, leading the technology practice for the firm's Los Angeles office. Earlier in her career, Dena worked at Fleishman-Hillard and also consulted for several international public relations agencies including Golin-Harris and MS&L.

Dena serves on the Los Angeles Mayor's Council of Technology and Innovation. Dena is also a proud member of The California Committee South (CCS), a dedicated group of volunteers who support Human Rights Watch in Southern California through outreach, advocacy, and fundraising. Dena received her BA in international relations from the University of California, Davis.
